PESHAWAR: Three people, including a woman, were killed when assailants opened fire at them in the vicinity of the Peshtakhara police station here on Friday.
Relevant officials said a family belonging to Banda Daud Shah tehsil of Karak district came under attack near the Ring Road. As a result, two men and a woman were killed on the spot.
The officials said identity of the deceased and reason behind the killings was yet to be ascertained.
The bodies were shifted to the Hayatabad Medical Complex for medical examination and legal procedure.
The Peshtakhara police after registering the case have started investigations.
