KASUR: The Allahabad police claimed on Thursday to have arrested two persons who allegedly raped a student, made his video and sold it to young people at Gahlan Hithar village.

Police recovered the mobile phones of the two suspects and found dozens of video clips.

Locals say the suspects run a sheesha cafe in the town where they make porn videos, blackmail boys and sell the videos to other young people who later blackmail and abuse the survivors. Police had lodged a criminal case against the prime suspect for running the sheesha cafe a few months ago.

According to the FIR lodged under section 377-B (unnatural offence), 293 (sale of obscene objects to young people), 294 (doing any obscene act in any public place), three nominated suspects raped a first-year student at the cafe, made video clip of the incident and later shared it with other young men in the area.

The FIR also stated that some notables of the area had been forcing the survivor to reconcile and not to report the matter to police. Another victim came to the surface when a man recognised his son in a video clip.

The social circles have demanded that the DPO investigate the matter and arrest all the suspects.
