Peshawar UET conducts entry test for 2021 session

PESHAWAR: The University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, on Sunday conducted the entry test for academic session 2021, simultaneously at the centres set up in the provincial capital, Mardan, Abbottabad, Swat, Malakand, Kohat, and Dera Ismail Khan.

Educational Testing and Evaluating Agency (Etea) conducted the test, according to a press release.

A total of 8,148 candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the merged districts, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan appeared.

The results will be announced on Monday (today), which can be seen on the Etea website www.etea.edu.pk.

The results will also be displayed on www.enggentrancetest.pk.

Dawood Khan, secretary higher education, visited the centres and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements put in place for strict observance of the standard operating procedures against Covid-19.

UET Vice-Chancellor Prof Iftikhar Hussain said the provincial government’s guidelines for Covid-19 were strictly observed during the course of the entry test.
