MULTAN: Lodhran police have arrested two boys aged 12 and 13 years for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl and lodged a case against them.

Muhammad Waseem, a resident of Chak 43/M, lodged a complaint with Lodhran Saddar police station on Thursday, stating that he along with his family members went to Shah Behram Graveyard to offer fateha at the graves of his relatives.

He stated while they were busy offering fateha, his four-year-old niece (M), who was accompanying them, went missing.

He said he, along with two others, started looking for the girl. During the search, they heard the screams of the girl from a cotton field. He said on entering the field, they found the two boys raping his niece. He stated that on seeing them, the boys fled the scene.

On the complaint, the police lodged an FIR (No 365/21) and arrested the both suspects. The girl was shifted to hospital for her medical examination that later confirmed she was raped.

Lodhran District Police Officer Abdul Rauf Qaisrani told the local media that the suspects had been arrested.
