LAKKI MARWAT: Two attackers shot dead a minor girl and her mother in Kotka Mehmood Baistkhel locality of Lakki Marwat on Saturday.

The police said accused - Munir Khan and Eid Mohammad - entered the house of Laal Badshah and opened fire on the inmates, leaving her four-year-daughter Marwa Bibi dead on the spot.

Laal Badshah and his wife, Yasmeen Bibi, were wounded, and were taken to a rural health facility in Serai Gambila town, where the woman succumbed to her injuries.

The attackers escaped the area after the incident.

The police said the killers had a land dispute with the victims’ family.

A case was registered against the suspected killers under the relevant sections of law in Serai Gambila police station.
