PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded nine more deaths caused by Covid-19, 458 new cases and 207 recoveries on Monday.

The situation report issued by the health department said that the deaths were reported from different parts of the province, including five from Peshawar and two each from Abbottabad and Swat.

The report said that of the total cases, 215 were reported from the provincial capital, 49 from Abbottabad and 47 from Manshera.

A total of 9,116 tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, the health department’s report said.

Meanwhile, KP police chief Moazzaam Jah Ansari also tested positive for the virus and quarantined himself at home.
