DACCA: President Gen Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan has urged the banking and financial community to provide ideas and means of accelerating the process of development in East Pakistan. In a message to the conference of chief executives of banks and financial institutions opening in Dacca tomorrow [Aug 2] … the President said he was glad to know that they were meeting and reviewing the economic situation in East Pakistan and [devising] ways … [of] accelerating the process of economic development in the province.
