DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A teenage boy was subjected to assault allegedly by nine persons in the limits of Saddar police station here on Friday.

An official said that a woman, a resident of Kokaar area, lodged a report with the Saddar police station, saying that her 13-year-old son was returning home after have his motorcycle repaired when the accused riding on motorcycles forcibly took him to a house in Himmat Adda area and assaulted him there. The official said three of the nine accused had been identified as Faizan, Ansar and Adnan.

He said the accused managed to escape after leaving the child in injured condition. He said the child was shifted to a hospital by locals.

The police registered a case under Section 377 of PPC against the accused on the complaint of the child’s mother and started raids to arrest them.
