KARACHI: The brilliant pair of Shahab Khan and Adnan Khan of Civil Aviation Club outplayed the talented pair of Eibad Sarwar and Muhammad Ali 10-8 in the final of Men’s Doubles to clinch the tile in style at the Gatorade Trophy Ranking Tennis Championships which is being played at the Union Club.

Ahmed Ahsan earned multiple success in the under-13 singles. He first beat Abdullah Razzak 4-1, 5-3 in the first semifinal and and later in the final, he overcame Basim Ali 4-0, 4-2.

In Soft Tennis Ladies Singles Round Robin match, Qudsia Raja beat Afshan Fatima 5-2. However, on the points table, she became runners up of this event as Marium Shahid became champion on the basis of highest accumulated points.

In wheelchair tennis mens singles event, 13 players participated. In the semifinals, Muhammad Ayub beat Imran Siddiqui 6-1 and Muhammad Irfan beat Fida Hussain 6-4.
