The great escape

This is with reference to the story, “The great escape” by Minat Zubair (YW, June 12). The story focussed on the kidnapping issue and ended well as the child successfully escapes from the clutches of his abductors.

However, in real life, kidnapped children can hardly make a successful escape. Nevertheless, as kids, we should remain alert and pay attention to our surroundings, especially suspicious people, people following us or those we have never seen before in our area.

Apart from that, children should stay far from the roads because sometimes abductors use vehicles to take their victim inside. I hope this story will make the readers alert and be more vigilant when they are out.

The story “The great escape” by Minal Zubair was nicely written and conveyed a very important message to kids to be more careful with strangers than ever before.

The story focussed on the kidnapping issue, which is quite prevalent in almost every society. Parents and elders should make their children aware about the cruel things happening around the world.

I suggest the YW team publish more articles on various other problems in our society, so that kids gain awareness and act positively in making a good society.

Scepticism destroys

This is regarding the article “Scepticism destroys!” by Ayesha Ilyas (YW, June 19). I liked the article because it described scepticism with examples. The writer discussed trust and its significance in maintaining a healthy relationship. Without trust, a relationship leads to its end.

In my opinion, even if your trust is broken for once, do not compare your relationship with others in the same way, because not everyone is the same.

From awkwardness to confidence

This is regarding the cover article, “From awkwardness to confidence’’ by Tooba Khan (YW, June 26). The article brightened up my day. Many of the situations mentioned in the story were relatable.

The writer conveyed the message of being ‘bold’ throughout her piece. I would like to thank the YW team for providing us with our routine-based articles and major issues which children face a lot nowadays.
