HYDERABAD, Oct 28: Youm-ul-Quds was observed with fervour in the districts of Sindh on Friday for the liberation of Baitul Muqaddas. People pledged to continue the struggle for the liberation of Baitul Muqaddas. Protest demo-nstrations were held aga-inst Israel. In Hyderabad, a procession was taken out under the banner of the Sunni-Shia Ittehad Council and the Shia Ulema Council from Qadamgah Maula Ali after Friday prayers. The protesters burnt the Israeli flag.

Allama Altaf Al-Hussaini, Kazim Shah Naqi and others spoke at the procession when it reached the Hyder Chowk. MPA Abdul Rehman Rajput, Mir Hyder Ali Khan Talpur, People’s Party Parliamentarians leader Amanullah Siyal, district Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal president Abdul Waheed Qureshi, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam leader Maulana Taj Mohammad Nahiyoon, Ameer Abdullah Farooqui and other religious and political leaders were present.

They expressed solidarity with Palestinians.
