KARACHI: Seven horses will face the starter in the Recharge Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The Recharge Cup, which is the fourth race in order, will be contested over a sprinting distance of four furlongs.

Saghir Prince, formerly Lucky Is Me, from Lahore, will make his debut in the cup race which has been classified under scale order IV and V.

The cup race will be followed by the day’s feature event, combined scale order I, II and III that will see half a dozen horses in action over four furlongs distance.

The first three races of lower classification have a field of seven horses apiece and will take place over similar distance of four furlongs.

The first race starts at 3:30pm.
