KARACHI: Quaid-e-Azam XI beat Allama Iqbal XI 46-45 in the KMC Anti-Narcotics Day exhibition basketball match organised by Firdaus Ittehad in collaboration with the Karachi Basketball Association here at Abdul Nasir Basketball Courts, Arambagh on Saturday.

Usman Khawaja (14 points), Mohammad Maaz (12) and Daniyal Khan Marwat and Faizan Shaikh (10 each) were the primary contributors for Quaid-e-Azam XI while Ahmed Ali, Moeed Ahmed (12) and Muhammad Hameed (10 each) fared well for Allama Iqbal XI.

He said the KMC is dedicated to promoting healthy activities including sports among the city youths in order to protect them from the menace of drugs.

Later, Metropolitan Commissioner Karachi Danish Saeed who was the chief guest gave away trophies and individual prizes to the players.
