KARACHI: The provincial health department signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a visa facilitation service on Wednesday to help ease Covid-19 vaccination process for international travellers.

Under the agreement, the facility for Covid-19 vaccination would be available from June 28 onward at Gerry’s visa centre located on Razi Road, PECHS, seven days a week, from 8am to 10pm.

The health department will provide Pfizer vaccines to the facility.

“The purpose of this MoU is to facilitate international travellers, including students, tourists and businessmen and provide credible documentation and evidence of travellers’ vaccination status,” it said.

Other verifying documents and evidence would also be recorded such as an attested NIMS (National Immunization Management System) certificate, it added.
