ISLAMABAD: A man was killed in a road accident while another injured during a robbery, police said.

In the first incident, a man identified as Gul Rahim was travelling on his motorcycle when a truck hit him at Tarnol. He was shifted to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

In another incident, a man was injured during a robbery in I-8/1, police said, adding that the injured was identified as Mohammad Aslam.

Three armed men intercepted him and held him at gunpoint. They then snatched Rs13,000 cash from him and tried to escape.

However, when Aslam put up resistance, the robbers started hitting him on his head with their pistols, inflicting injuries on him.
