ISLAMABAD: The Fede­ral Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday constituted two committees to identify and remove technical and legal anomalies in the Finance Bill 2021.

An official announcement said that the Anomaly Committee-Technical will be chaired by Naeem Akhtar Sheikh of UHY Hassan Naeem & Co where­as Member (IR-Policy) Ch Muhammad Tarique and Member (Customs-Policy) Syed Hamid Ali will be co-chairmen.

Similarly, Anomaly Committee-Business will be chaired by HBL Chairman Sultan Ali Allana.

The TORs of the committees will be to review the identified and submitted anomalies and to advise FBR on removal of the same. Technical and legal anomalies can be submitted on or before close of office hours on Tuesday (June 22) to the co-chairmen, at FBR headquarter.
