LAHORE: A Punjab University Baloch Council activist was injured when two groups of students clashed over room allotment issue on Thursday.

As per Baloch Council spokesperson, Mohsin, a second semester English department student, was in his room in the PU Hostel No 18 with some friends when four to five IJT activists allegedly barged in. He said the IJT activists asked Mohsin to leave the room as it was allotted to them.

Following exchange of words, the two sides clashed in which Mohsin suffered minor injuries.

Meanwhile, PU security guards approached the spot and locked the hostel.

Later, a large number of IJT and Baloch Council activists gathered outside the hostel but they were not allowed to enter the building.
