MIRPURKHAS: Several thatched huts of peasants at Raja farm in Sindhri taluka were completely destroyed in a huge fire on Thursday.
The affected families said the fire broke out in a house during preparation of breakfast and quickly engulfed the entire hut and its neighbouring houses, giving people barely enough time to run for their lives. They had no time to save their cattle, valuable household belongings and stocked wheat and seeds, they said.
