THE shortage of water has become a nuisance for the residents of KDA Overseas Bungalows, Block-16-A, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Karachi. The water reservoir mostly remains empty. The schedule of water supply in the area is completely disturbed and the pressure in pipelines is too low to be of any use.

Despite timely payment of water taxes and having lodged several complaints, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has failed to restore sufficient supply of water. Hence, the residents have to purchase water through tankers to meet their needs.

The authorities concerned should restore regular water supply without any further delay.
