LOOKING at the picture above, one would take it as a scene from some shanty dispensation or a slum, but actually this relates to a posh area around a very busy and famous commercial lane of 26th Street in DHA Karachi near the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi. These homeless are seen lying and resting on the pavement along the lane. I wonder how scores of them sleep there alsong with their children and with vehicles speeding past them.
While they may have their own reasons and circumstances, what is being done by the relevant authorities to prevent a disaster?
