LARKANA: Two brothers drowned while bathing in Hameer Wah on Larkana-Ratodero road, about five kilometres from here on Thursday.

Fayaz Kumbhar, 11, and Waseem Kumbhar, 10, slipped into deep waters and died while their third brother Hafeez Kumbhar, 12, was rescued by people who rushed to them after hearing their cries for help, said sources.

The boys, who had come from Shikarpur with their families to attend some event, had gone to the nearby canal to take bath in cool waters and beat the heat.

Later, the bodies were taken out and transported to Shikarpur.
