SAUDI Arabia recently sent 19,032 bags of rice for Pakistan under its charity project. It is really disheartening that these bags were distributed among the people of the two provinces, while Balochistan and Sindh, where poverty has always been higher in rural areas, were totally ignored by the government.
It was certainly strange to see the government indulge in such blatant favouritism.
