GUJRANWALA: A man died after he was vaccinated at a corona vaccination centre here on Sunday.

According to deceased’s family, Tariq (50) along with his wife went to corona vaccination centre at Arts Council Hall. As soon he was administered vaccine, his condition worsened.

He was shifted to Gujranwala DHQ hospital where he expired.

District health officer (DHO) Dr. Soofia Bilal told the media that Tariq was a cardiac patient and he died of heart attack.

She said more than 150,000 people had been vaccinated but no reaction was seen.

She said just 30 people suffered from fever and body ache and recovered after two days.
