Four killed in armed clash

SHIKARPUR: Four people lost their lives in an armed clash between two groups of the Marfani clan near Garhi Yasin in Shikarpur district on Sunday.

According to police, the clash took place Shaham Marfani village over a longstanding dispute between the two groups.

The victims were identified as Mohammad Hashim, Abdul Nabi, Abdul Karim and Sudhir.

A strong contingent of police rushed to the village to bring the situation under control.

A post-mortem examination of the bodies was performed at the Garhi Yasin Taluka Hospital before they were handed over to the heirs. Fear and tension gripped the village after the clash.
