KARACHI: A woman was found murdered in the outskirts of the city on Friday, according to police.

They added that the body of a woman in her early 30s was found from a graveyard near Khamiso Goth.

SITE Superhighway Industrial Area police SHO Gulzar Ali Tunio said that azarband (belt) was found around her neck, indicating possibility that she was strangulated to death. However, the officer said the exact cause of death will be ascertained after post-mortem examination at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the body was shifted.

Crime Scene Unit of the police was also called to collect evidence from the spot. Her identity could not be ascertained immediately.
