The Sindh government has imposed additional Covid-19 restrictions from May 9 to 16 under Section 3(1) of the Sindh Epidemic Diseases Act 2014, according to an order from the provincial home department.

According to the notification, there will be no unnecessary movement of people and gathering of any kind at any place. All tourist spots, picnic places, including beaches, recreational parks shall remain closed for the public.

It also added that a ban would be imposed on all forms of public transport. All markets, businesses and shops shall remain closed during this period except essential services, the notification said.
