The Kalash Chilim Jusht spring festival will be allowed to proceed subject to strict compliance with Covid-19 standard operating procedures, according to a notification from the deputy commissioner of Lower Chitral.
The notification said that venues would not be filled beyond 50 per cent of their capacity and hotels and guest houses would remain closed from May 8 to 16.
It added that no tourists would be allowed to enter the Kalash valleys and locals would not be allowed to host them at their houses.
