LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has reinstated a civil judge four years after his termination from service.

“The honourable chief justice and judges are pleased to reinstate Mr Sharafat Ali Nasir into service as civil judge-cum-judicial magistrate with effect from date of his termination from service i.e. June 10, 2017 and post him at civil courts, Lahore as officer on special duty against an existing vacancy,” says a notification issued by LHC Registrar Malik Mushtaq Ahmad Ojla.

Nasir had challenged his termination before the Punjab subordinate judiciary service tribunal comprising judges of the high court. The tribunal had allowed his appeal.
