RAWALPINDI: The Board of Revenue Punjab has taken immediate action against illegal occupation of government land at Mouza Murree Sakni No. 392, Murree Tehsil, Rawalpindi and retrieved 12 kanals and 5 marlas of land worth Rs120 million.

Structures on the land have been demolished be sides registration of a case against the occupants. Senior member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar in his statement said that actions have been intensified to relinquish government lands from illegal occupants.

He said the historic operation against the qabza mafia was successfully being carried out.

During the grand operation across the province, illegal occupants of valuable government property were being dealt with iron hands, he said, adding Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar was personally overseeing the operation against the qabza mafia.

Those occupying government lands do not deserve any concession, he said, adding every inch of government land would be reclaimed from the occupation mafia.
