The Civil Aviation Authority has decided to extend the ban on travel to Pakistan from countries in its Category C list. Other new restrictions include:

  • Passengers arriving from countries not in Category C will have to present results of a PCR test not older than 72 hours
  • Airlines to be fined for allowing passengers to board without PCR test result
  • Passengers will be required to provide their information through Pass Track app
  • Children younger than 12 years, disabled persons, deportees and special foreign delegations will be exempt from Pass Track data entry and Covid test
  • Passengers seeking to travel to Pakistan from banned countries on an emergency basis can email at icao.aviation.pk@gmail.com with documents for permission
