National heroes

Published April 26, 2021

THIS refers to the letter ‘Leadership crisis’ (April 9). The writer said: “After the demise of the founding fathers, the country was left largely on the mercy of vultures who could think of nothing but themselves.”

In today’s Pakistan it is next to impossible to find people of integrity, honesty and honour. Our media must highlight the sacrifices of true leaders, who are vanishing not only from the textbooks, but also from the minds of the people and the history of Pakistan. It is morally criminal to forget the sacrifices of the towering personalities behind the creation of Pakistan.
