Jordanian Ambassador Ibrahim Almadani visited the Defence Export Promotion Organisation (DEPO) with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan. Acting Director General, DEPO, Commodore Naeem Anwar warmly welcomed Ambassador Almadani and Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan.

He informed them that all products were backed up by ISO certification and met the latest aerospace standards.

Ambassador Almadani said he was greatly impressed to see the high quality of Pakistan’s defence industry products and Jordan considered Pakistan’s defence capability a source of strength.

He added that Jordan could learn a lot from the expertise and competency of Pakistan in the defence field.

Mr Khan thanked Commodore Naeem Anwar, and said Pakistan had great potential to enhance the exports of defence products.

He said the ICCI would like to work with the Jordanian embassy for developing strong business linkages between both countries so that private sectors could take the lead in promoting bilateral trade and economic relations.
