All activities of the National Assembly have been temporarily suspended and the NA Secretariat will remain closed from April 26 to 30 in view of rising cases of the coronavirus, the lower house's media directorate said.

Employees will work from home during this period, while starting May 3, the in-charges of different departments will call limited staff in to work if needed.

The Secretariat has directed the Capital Development Authority to disinfect all offices and instructed employees to get tested immediately if they experience Covid-19 symptoms.
