LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reopened the portal for the registration of clubs from across the country.

According to a PCB press release issued on Wednesday, the new date fixed for the registration application is April 28.

“Following requests from a number of cricket clubs who had missed registration in the first phase of the process, the PCB has agreed to reopen the registration portal for seven days from 0900 on Thursday, April 22 to 1700 on Wednesday, April 28,” the press release said.

“In the first phase of the registration process, which ran from March 10 to April 8, nearly 3,807 clubs had applied for registration. This was a 22 per cent increase in the last club registration process that ran prior to the introduction of the new PCB Constitution in August 2019.”
