Premier League: Army rout KRL

RAWALPINDI, Oct 17: Pakistan Army and Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) registered easy victories in the Premier League soccer on Saturday night at Army Stadium.

Army thrashed Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) 3-0, while PTCL defeated Panther Club 3-1.

Jaffar Hussain scored for Army in each half, while Abid added the third in the injury time.

The match between PTCL and Panther was deadlocked at 1-1 at halftime.

Nasarullah gave PTCL lead before Shahbaz equalised for Panther.

Yasir and Nasarullah struck for PTCL in the second period to seal victory.

Monday’s fixtures:

Wapda v Panther; KRL v Wohaib Club; PTCL v Pakistan Navy.—APP
