As many as 44 people have been booked in Lahore for leaving their houses without masks, the city police said.

A majority of the violations were seen in Lahore's City division, where 33 cases were registered for not wearing masks.

In total, 83 cases were lodged in the city over various violations of coronavirus SOPs, the Lahore capital city police officer said, adding that the implementation of government guidelines will be strictly ensured in view of public safety.
