This is the smoothie of all smoothies! Simple, pure, nutritious and delicious!

With just four ingredients and a quick blitz in the blender, you have a healthy breakfast ready in no time, to give you the energy boost you need to start your day. All you need to do is blend all the ingredients until smooth, and if you find the texture too thick, you can add a little more milk until you get the texture you like.

For best result, freeze the bananas and strawberries so that you do not have to use ice cubes, which can make the texture too watery. The frozen fruits also give it a thicker and frostier texture, just like what smoothies should be. In fact it was so thick that I had to almost have it with a spoon, which made it seem like yummy frozen fruit yoghurt!

Ingredients

• 1 cup strawberries, frozen

• 3 bananas, chopped and frozen

• 1 cup full cream milk

Method

Chop the fruits and freeze overnight. In a blender or food processor, add milk, strawberries, banana and honey. Blend until smooth and cream. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Note: you can substitute any fruit in place of these two and also use any juice in place of milk, if you don’t want a creamy texture. As for me, I just loved it the way it turned out.
