KARACHI: Promising Umar Ismail outgunned Zunair Khan 3-1 to lift the 13th Sindh Under-21 Snooker Cup at a local parlour here on Wednesday.

He was home 67-12, 55-24, 14-61, 58-32 in the final to win his maiden crown.

Zunair had defeated Saad Khan 3-2 in the quarter-finals on Tuesday and the orga­n­isers have committed a mistake by providing wrong results.

Earlier in the semi-finals, Umar whipped M. Asad Khan 74-22, 27-67, 29-63, 52-44, 67-55 while Zunair outclassed Shaharyar Khan 11-71, 70-28, 58-55, 43-29.

Results:

Final: Umar Ismail bt Zunair Khan 3-1 (67-12, 55-24, 14-61, 58-32).

Semi-finals: Zunair Khan bt Shaharyar Khan 3-1 (11-71, 70-28, 58-55, 43-29); Umar Ismail bt Mohammad Asad Khan 3-2 (74-22, 27-67, 29-63, 52-44, 67-55).
