LAHORE: Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid called on the chief minister to discuss vaccination to elderly citizens and the steps taken for dealing with the second Covid wave.

The CM expressed his concerns over the rising number of coronavirus cases and directed an effective implementation of SOPs. The citizens should also follow necessary precautionary measures as their cooperation is important for overcoming the infections, he added.

Yasmin Rashid said the health department was working to overcome the second wave.

LAW MINISTER: Law Minister Raja Basharat met the chief minister to discuss political situation and public interest legislation. Both also discussed the overall law and order situation and steps taken for the protection of life and property of the people.

The CM directed to take every possible measure to maintain the law and order. The supremacy of law should be maintained at every cost as no violation will be tolerated, he stressed.
