NAB summons Safdar with record on 10th

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz’s husband retired Capt Mohammad Safdar for March 10 directing him to present the record of all properties in his name and in the names of his family members.

In the call-up notice, Mr Safdar is asked to bring the record of a flour mill in Raiwind, 337-kanal land at Mauza Mall in the name of Maryam Nawaz, 62 kanal at Mauza Baddo in the name of Maryam Nawaz,14 kanal at Mauza Asil in the name of Maryam Nawaz, 200 acre at Mauza Mall Lahore in the name of Maryam Nawaz, 109 acre on Sundar Road Lahore in the name of Maryam Nawaz and 60 kanal at Raiwind.

The NAB also asked him to present the complete record of all the movable as well as immovable properties including agricultural, residential, commercial and other assets owned by him, his family members or benamidars, and also bank accounts details. The NAB said he should appear before it on March 10 at its Thokar Niaz Baig office.

LAB: A private laboratory told NAB Lahore that it was not procuring Covid-19 vaccine from Russia. It said it had no plan to charge over $100 profit per person against the vaccine as alleged in a complaint.

The NAB had summoned the lab owners over a complaint that it planned to charge over $100 profit per person for Covid-19 vaccine after procuring it from Russia.
