HARIPUR: The police found a man’s bullet-riddled body in Dakhan Kulali village here on Tuesday.

The police said the deceased appeared to be in his 40s and his body underwent postmortem at the trauma centre.

They said the man was shot in the head and neck from a point-blank range. The police said they had registered a murder case before beginning investigation.

WOMAN KILLED: A woman was killed and two suffered injuries when a car collided head-on with a passenger van near the Government Postgraduate Boys College on GT Road.

TOURNAMENT: The Haripur Premier League (HPL) will begin at the PCB’s Railway Cricket Ground on March 6 with six teams participating in it.

Malik Adeel Awan for Soka Gladiators, Taimur Khan for Darwesh Badshah, Qamar Fareed for Khalabat Pakhtuns, Faisal Turk for Turk Warriors and Kamran Ashraf for Real Time TIP signed the agreement with event organisers for the second edition of HPL during a special ceremony here on Wednesday.

Hattar Industrialists Association president Malik Ashiq Awan distributed tournament kits to the captains of six HPL teams.
