KARACHI: Half-a-dozen horses are in contention for honours in the Well Done Cup when it takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The race, which is also the feature event, has been classified under scale order I and II and will be contested over five furlongs. It is the fourth race in racing order.

A field of 10 horses has been drawn for the fifth and last race which is the supporting event and will be run over four-and-a-half furlongs.

The first two races of lower classification have attracted seven horses apiece while 11 horses are in the run in the third race.

A trio of horses — Alpha, Deewana and Angle Love — will make their debut on Saturday.

The first race starts at 2:30pm.
