LAHORE: Former Test fast bowler Mohammad Zahid has stepped down as the National High Performance Centre’s fast bowling coach due to personal reasons, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old right-arm pacer, who played just five Tests and 11 ODIs for Pakistan from 1996 to 2003 before a major back injury ended his international career, had joined the centre last September.
