BADIN: Four men and as many women were injured in a clash between two groups of the Manganhar community in Jamil Colony of Matli town on Friday.

Area police said that a brawl took place among some children while they were playing. They drew their parents and other relatives into the quarrel following which men and women from several families indulged in a heated argument and then attacked one another with clubs and stones.

The clash left eight persons — four men and as many women — injured. They were taken to the Matli Taluka Hospital for treatment. Police said they had taken all the injured in custody.
