LARKANA: An undertrial prisoner, Mohammed Moosa Jatoi, 80, died of cardiac arrest at the Chandka Medical College Hospital on Saturday.

The elderly man was facing a trial in a murder case. He was shifted from the Larkana Central Prison to the hospital after he complained of cardiac pain at around midnight. He was rushed to the emergency unit where doctors pronounced him dead. The deceased was a resident of Radhan town.

The body was handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities.
