TAXILA: Three persons were killed while four others injured in three incidents in Attock on Friday.

In the first incident, a man was killed and his three friends were injured when their car overturned due to speeding on Islamabad- Peshawar Motorway near Kohliyia in limits of Hassanabdal police station.

Police and hospital sources said Alam Khan was coming to Islamabad from Swat along with Naeem Khan, Naeem Akhter and Jamshaid Khan.

When he reached near Kohliyia, he lost control over the vehicle due to speeding and the car overturned. As a result, Alam died on the spot while his three friends were critically injured.

In the second incident, a man was shot and killed over old enmity in limits of Pindigheb police station.

Jannat Gull reported to police that he and his family shifted from Afghanistan due to some old enmity.

He said his brother Mohammad Wali was going for some work when two masked men came on a motorcycle and opened fire on him killing him on the spot.

A rickshaw driver also came under fire and received multiple bullets.

The dead and injured were shifted to Pindigheab Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

In a separate incident, a school teacher was killed by a speeding passenger van on Rawalpindi-Kohat road near Pind Sultani limits of Bassal police station.

Police and hospital sources said that Mohammad Sajjad was going home after attending the school when the passenger van hit killing him on the spot.
