HYDERABAD: Zynab Khan won the All-Pakistan Women’s Squash Championship title here at Hyderabad Gymkhana on Tuesday.

In a very much one-sided final, Pakistan Army’s Zynab defeated Noorul Huda of SNGPL 11-7, 11-6, 11-9 as the former dominated the proceedings.

Chief guest Maj Gen Mohammad Kashif Azad, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 18-Div who is also chief patron of Gymkhana, distributed trophies and shields among the winners, runners-up and members of the organising committee.

Hyderabad Division Commissioner, Mohammad Abbas Baloch, was the guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Kashif congratulated the winning players and lauded the Hyderabad Gymkhana management for organising the event. He hoped more sports events would also be organised at the venue in future.
