WATCHING a recent television programme, I was reminded of the new political map of Pakistan after spotting it hanging on the wall behind a minister’s chair. The map — any map, for that matter — is as important by what it states as it is by what it omits. While the new map renews our claims on Junagadh and Manavadar, is the capital territory now officially dissolved into Punjab? Also, two areas in Punjab have now become part of northern Sindh.
Surely, the citizens of Pakistan have the right to know about both these changes.
