Four injured in Quetta bomb explosion

QUETTA: Four people were injured in a bomb blast at Sariab Road on Saturday, police said.

“Four people including a bus cleaner and three passengers received injuries in the blast,” said a senior police official, Abdul Hyee Bangulzai, adding a improvised explosive device was planted in a dustbin which went off when the bus was passing through the area.

Police and FC personnel rushed to the scene of the incident and had the injured taken to civil hospital.

Medics described condition of one of the injured as serious.

Police started investigation into the incident.
