DERA GHAZI KHAN: Gunmen looted cash and valuables, including mobile phones, from cattle traders on Monday in the vicinity of Kot Chhuta police.

According to a cattle trader, they were on their way to the cattle market established in Muhammadpur in Rajanpur when their bus was intercepted by six gunmen who looted cash, mobile phones and other valuables from thm in the jurisdiction of Kot Chhuta police on a link road near the village Malana.

District Police Officer Umer Saeed Malik told Dawn the police had registered a case under section 395 of the Penal Code of Pakistan against six suspects, including Nadeem who he has been arrested.

He said Rs1.6 million was looted from cattle traders.
